2005 Acura RL Review
The 2005 Acura RL – another word for great power, technology and elegance
When you want a whole lot of power, technology and elegance in your car then you will find all of it in the 2005 Acura RL. It is a great car from the Acura range. The 3.5RL luxury sedan which dates back to the 1990s is seen in its new avatar. There are so many improvements and additions in the high tech range in the 2005 Acura RL that it looks and feels like an entirely new car altogether. Here are the specifications of the new 2005 Acura RL. It is 3 inches shorter than the previous versions, one inch wider, 2.6 inches taller and 4.4 inch short at the wheel base.
The cabin is far longer and therefore has space for more passengers. There is enough room space for people within the 2005 Acura RL. The steel that is used in the manufacture of the 2005 Acura RL is high tensile steel that allows it to have a 33% gain in body rigidity. The weight was reduced using the most advanced of technology. This was made possible with the use of the aluminum hood, deck lid, sub-frames, fenders and bumper beams. There was a further reduction in the weight with the use of magnesium for the cylinder, head covers and the seat frames too. All of this allows the RL to be only 100 pounds more than the FWD that came before it.
The 2005 Acura RL comes with the most powerful of engines at 3.5L/300-hp SOHC V-6. This is a 75 hp more than the 2004 model.
